A bit about IACBE: Established in 1997, the IACBE was born out of the vision of academic leaders who desired an accreditation process that was mission-driven and outcomes-based, rather than just focusing on prescriptive standards. Over the years, it has evolved into a leading professional accreditation body, boasting well over 200 members and accrediting 800 programs worldwide. Their commitment to excellence was further solidified in 2011 when they received recognition from the US Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
